Working as crew on a yacht delivery is a great, low-cost way of:
1) Building sea miles for an RYA qualification.
2) Gaining hands on sailing experience offshore or in changing weather conditions.
3) Enjoying a working sailing holiday.
Usually the client covers the cost of returning the crew to the UK and all onboard meals.
Remember, this is not a cruise. Crew are expected to take their turn at watches and in most aspects of running the boat including cooking and boat maintenance.
